Celebrating our 30th Anniversary as the original beach portrait photographer on the Gold Coast
Sunday 31st March, 2024, was the 40th Anniversary of the "Art and Craft on the Coast" Beachfront Markets.
The market was the very first true art & craft event of its type (circa 1984) and gave locals and tourists alike a new "thing to do" and to enjoy on their Sundays. It has also given a plethora of artisans the opportunity to showcase their skills and wares to the public and "many a successful business" has grown as a result.
We were honored yesterday to provide our photography skills to capture this momentous day and catch up with most of the previous market managers and the O.G Chris Robbins, who co-founded the markets with Sue.
It was lovely to catch up with people who have have been influential in our working lives over the last 3 decades at the Beachfront Art & Craft Market. We are indeed a community!
To top off the day, we were awarded with a Certificate for 3 decades of attending the markets and showcasing our beach portraits to the wonderful public from locals and interstate visitors to international tourists.
We really thank everyone who has supported our small business and we look forward to the many more beautiful market days, meeting new people and providing them with stunning images and special memories of their growing families.
